The Charities

The charities behind the Fund

"The Poor's Money" is not one charity but several, joined together. Over the centuries, local benefactors left gifts and endowments for the relief of the poor of Broadhembury. Today these are administered as one registered charity, under the 1956 Scheme, so that their combined income can do the most good.
